From the 11th to 17th of May 2019, Novi Sad Fair will be host to the 86th International Agricultural Fair (UFI), one of the most important business events in the area of agriculture of the South East Europe.

The number of participants and visitors, promotion of products and services from 60 countries worldwide, as well as business results place the Novi Sad International Agricultural Fair among ten most important agricultural fairs in Europe.

The event gathers the biggest players which present their products and services in the area of agricultural production, food and beverage industry, agricultural machinery, food-processing industry equipment, chemical and protective substances, organic food, as well as other products and services in agribusiness. The Fair is a place where farmers from the country and region meet.

International Agricultural Fair is a dedicated platform for industry-related companies to showcase their latest technical, scientific and technology advances for the agricultural sector, and explore the industry’s growth and market potential of the farming world both across the board and in the region.

From 11th to 17th May a review of the agricultural sector will be presented by 1,518 companies, institutions and organizations that come from 32 countries and bring products and services from 61 state.

The Partner Country of the 86th International Agricultural Fair is Italy. It is the seventh consecutive time that Italy is represented by a collective exhibition at the most important agricultural event in the region, and, what is more, as a Partner Country for the second time.

For the first time Tunisia exhibited at the Agricultural Fair last year, and at the 86th International Agricultural Fair it participates as the Friend Country. It is considered as one of the most economically developed African countries. Agriculture has been developed in Tunisia since ancient times; the Romans made Tunisia a granary by building irrigation systems.

Exhibition of Genetic Potentials is also organized for the first time, where autochthonous sorts of livestock will be presented.

After more than 20 years there are 17 collective exhibitions. With an accent on precise and digital agriculture, Exhibition of Agricultural Mechanization brings the most contemporary machines, among which there are some more than half a million euros worth.

The general sponsor is Generali Osiguranje Srbija (Generali Insurance of Serbia). The Gold Sponsor is Aldahra, which represents its products from 15 countries at the Fair.

On the occasion of the 86th International Agricultural Fair, the Quality Appraisal Committee of the Novi Sad Fair is going to evaluate products in 30 commodity groups: food, packaging, mechanisation in agriculture, food industry and forestry as well as live exhibits at the Exhibition of Livestock.
