ABOUT THE HOSPITAL

Stankov Ophthamology opened its doors in 2000 as the Specialist Ophthalmic Practice STANKOV. The practice consisted of four employees, headed by Prof. Dr. Branko STANKOV and dealt mainly with ophthalmological problems in children.

In response to an increase in the number of patients seeking treatment for general ophthalmic services and more specialized treatments lead to an expansion of staff and the introduction of new systems.

Today STANKOV OPHTHAMOLOGY counts a team of twenty-five members who successfully deal with all sorts of ophthalmologic problems ( including contactology, strabismology, cataracts, ablation, virectomy etc.). The polyclinic is located in Belgrade'd city center where all types of ophthalmic examination including for parts of the anterior and posterior segment of the eye can be done for children and adults. The modern surgical block comprehends a recovery room for the efficient and careful recovery of patients.

A great deal of experience, the use of modern equipment and top ophthamological brands guarantee success in solving all ophthalmic problems.
